Paul Tabone
Paul recently completed his Bachelor of Music Theatre at the CQCM where he received the prestigious Most Promising Voice for Music Theatre in 2007 & 2009, and he is fast proving his versatility as a performer. In 2009, he appeared in Opera Queensland’s world premiere production of Dirty Apple and was the lead vocalist in the Queensland premiere of Jeff Wayne’s War of the Worlds. He has performed with The Ten Tenors’ Tenorissimo, was a soloist at the nationally televised Carols In The City and has shared the stage with Rhonda Burchmore, Kate Ceberano, Guy Sebastian, Mercury Five, James Morrison and David Campbell. Paul has also performed in numerous musicals including Little Shop of Horrors (Voice of Audrey II), The Pajama Game and the title role in The Wiz, to name just a few.
Paul has established himself as a promising Italian Lyric Tenor and has performed nationally and internationally with incredible acclaim. Paul currently performs in The High Cs, an operatic duo with soprano Leslie Martin which has been dubbed “Australia’s Premier Operatic Duo”.
Paul is thrilled to be part of the Australian premiere of Love Never Dies and would like to take this opportunity to thank all those people who have supported him.
